Dr. M. Bardett Fausett, MD FACOG

Chief Medical Officer, Principal Investigator

Dr. Bardett Fausett is a board certified obstetrician/gynecologist with specialization in maternal and fetal medicine, focusing on patients with complications of pregnancy and their effect on both the mother and the fetus. Dr. Fausett is a graduate of Brigham Young University (BS) and Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (MD, Valedictorian). He completed his residency (4 years) at Wilford Hall Medical Center and his maternal and fetal medicine fellowship (3 years) at the University of Utah. During his active duty in the U.S. Air Force, Dr. Fausett was the Surgeon General’s Consultant for Obstetrics and Maternal Fetal Medicine (12 years). He is an active innovator in improved perinatal outcomes and inventor of medical devices. He recently launched the Rocky Mountain Perinatal Institute to focus on addressing rural healthcare deficits in pregnancy and childbirth and serves as the Chairman of Community Medical Center’s Department of Women’s and Children’s Services.

Dr. Brad Holbrook is a board certified obstetrician/gynecologist with specialization in maternal and fetal medicine, focusing on patients with complications of pregnancy and their effect on both the mother and the fetus. Dr. Holbrook is a graduate of the University of Utah (BS) and Eastern Virginia Medical School (MS, MD). He completed his residency (4 years) and his maternal and fetal medicine fellowship (3 years) at the University of New Mexico, receiving the Outstanding Medical Student Education Award in each of his seven years. Dr. Holbrook currently serves on Community Medical Center’s Perinatal Executive Committee and Multispecialty Peer Review Committee.

Dr. Sandra Shepherd, MD

Dr. Shepherd is a board certified Family Medicine physician who provides full scope family medicine including obstetrics and hospital based newborn care. After completing an undergraduate B.S. degree at University of Oregon, she attended University of Washington School of Medicine (M.D. in 2001) and completed family medicine residency in Boise, Idaho, at Family Medicine Residency of Idaho where she served as chief resident and stayed as faculty for 2 years. She participates actively in medical staff proceedings at her affiliated hospital, Community Medical Center, and is currently in private practice with another family physician. The office is guided by the principle of providing thorough and compassionate care, trying to connect patients with the resources that will best improve their health. As clinical/community faculty participating with the Western Montana Family Medicine Residency, she continues to help train the next generation of providers.

Dr. Sarah Borge is a board-certified family medicine physician. She is from Conrad, Montana, and graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biology at Luther College in Decorah, Iowa. She then worked in a research lab at the University of Minnesota for a year. Dr. Borge received her medical degree from the University of Minnesota – Minneapolis and moved back to her home state of Montana for residency at Montana Family Medicine in Billings, Montana. Since then, she has spent nine years in Missoula, Montana, doing family medicine, with the last two years in private practice. Her passion is patient care, connections with patients and their families to make healthy positive changes in their lives.

Dr. Hayley Miller, MD

Dr. Miller grew up in Buffalo, Wyoming and received her undergraduate degree in Nutrition and Food Sciences from the University of Wyoming. After garnering her M.D. from University of Washington School of Medicine, she completed two years of Internal Medicine residency in La Crosse, Wisconsin, then accepted a fast-track fellowship position in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City. During her training, Dr. Miller participated in many aspects of research, but her true passion is patient care. She has given a number of talks to both patients and providers about optimizing diabetes management, insulin pump therapy, continuous glucose monitoring, insulin intensification and weight management. A self-proclaimed “diabetes nerd,” Dr. Miller’s professional interests stem from her own experience with type 1 diabetes. In her free time, she enjoys skiing, hiking, performing arts, and most outdoor activities with her husband and two children.

Dr. William Stratford, Jr., MD

Dr. Will Stratford is a well-established practicing psychiatrist in Missoula, Montana. He is board-certified in both forensic psychiatry and clinical psychiatry, having extensive experience with children (Fellowship in Child Psychiatry), adolescents, and adults in both clinical practice and forensic service. After completing a Bachelor of Science in Medical Biology from the University of Utah, cum laude, he received his medical degree from the University of Tennessee. Dr. Stratford completed his internship and residency at the University of Utah Medical Center in Adult Psychiatry and Neurology, then completed a Fellowship in Child Psychiatry at a joint program of the University of Utah Medical Center and Primary Children’s Hospital (Salt Lake City, Utah), where he served as the Director of Inpatient Unit and Co-Director of the Residential Treatment Program. During his undergraduate and medical school training, Dr. Stratford served six years in the U.S. Navy Reserve. He remains current in the practice of psychiatry, providing care to patients and forensic services in cases of both civil and criminal law.

Tara Patrick is a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in private practice in Missoula, Montana. She is naturally gifted in pediatric care of infants, children, and adolescents. A native of Montana, she graduated from the University of Montana with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with honors. She then graduated from St. Louis University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, magna cum laude, followed by a Master of Science in Nursing from Arizona State University. Tara is a Clinical Nursing Instructor at Montana State University and has served as a preceptor for training pediatric nurse practitioners at Gonzaga University and Montana State University. She enjoys spending time with her family, often in the great Montana outdoors.

Dr. Vicki Chapman, DO

Dr. Chapman graduated from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1983. After serving for 5 years as a General Medical Officer with the Indian Health Service in Harlem and Browning, MT, she completed an OB GYN residency at the University of Rochester, New York. Dr. Chapman has practiced in Great Falls since 1994. Her current practice includes office gynecology, with special interest in abnormal bleeding and the prevention and diagnosis of Gyn cancer. She has teacher certifications in Kripalu yoga, Mindfulness meditation and iRest yoga nidra.
