Dr. Dahl brings more than four decades of cardiology practice and longstanding cardiovascular research leadership to Boeson’s Provo site, where he has served as a principal investigator since 2024.

Clinical and research leadership: His career includes directing cardiology research at Utah Valley Regional Medical Center from 1985 to 2004, leading non-invasive cardiology and echocardiography services, and medical-director roles in clinical research at Revere Health and Aspen Clinical Research. He also has experience in medical education and cardiovascular quality review.

Research experience: His career PI work spans acute coronary syndromes, post-infarction ventricular dysfunction, cardiovascular outcomes, hypercholesterolemia and lipid-lowering therapies. His Boeson PI portfolio focuses on atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease and cardiovascular risk. This research background is complemented by clinical expertise in non-invasive cardiology and echocardiography.
