Current and upcoming research interests
Our research program covers the interests below, including studies preparing to open. The available-study list above shows opportunities currently accepting online inquiries. You can also ask to hear about future opportunities.
- Rheumatoid arthritis: Our upcoming studies will evaluate whether an investigational immune-cell treatment approach can reduce disease activity in adults whose rheumatoid arthritis remains active despite previous treatments, while assessing safety.
- Lupus: Our study is testing whether an investigational oral medicine can reduce lupus disease activity when added to usual treatment, and is monitoring its safety.
- Gout: Our two studies compare an investigational oral medicine with an established gout treatment to learn how well it lowers uric acid and how safe it is, including in people with gout-related lumps called tophi.
- Polymyalgia rheumatica (PMR): Our upcoming study will evaluate whether a medicine that targets inflammation can help keep PMR under control as prednisone is gradually reduced under study supervision.
- Other autoimmune and rheumatic conditions: Our upcoming research includes evaluating the safety and early effects of an investigational immune-cell treatment approach for selected recurring autoimmune conditions. Ask our team which conditions are currently being considered in Great Falls.
