Dr. Remmers combines more than two decades of family-medicine experience with American Board of Obesity Medicine certification earned in 2026. She joined Boeson as a sub-investigator in 2022 and has served as a principal investigator since 2023.

Clinical and research leadership: Her background includes service as Family Medicine Department Chair and Executive Committee Board Member at Western Montana Clinic, quality-committee work and residency teaching. Her clinical experience spans adult primary care, geriatrics and women’s health.

Boeson research experience: Her PI portfolio spans obesity, type 1 and type 2 diabetes, cardiovascular risk, influenza and other vaccines. Her metabolic research includes oral and injectable incretin-based therapies and studies addressing weight management, glycemic control and cardiovascular outcomes. Across PI and Sub-I roles, her vaccine and infectious-disease experience includes influenza, COVID-19, CMV and RSV, with RSV research involving older adults and pediatric populations. Additional Sub-I work includes atopic dermatitis and urinary tract infection research.
