Dr. David N. Taylor combines more than four decades of clinical research and vaccine-development leadership with hands-on principal investigator experience in Bozeman. • Influenza vaccines: Principal investigator in a Phase 3 modified-RNA seasonal influenza vaccine trial.
• RSV vaccines: Principal investigator in a Phase 3 RSVpreF vaccine program for adults at high risk of severe RSV disease.

Dr. Taylor previously served as Chief of the Department of Clinical Trials at Walter Reed Army Institute of Research; Chief Medical Officer at VaxInnate, Vaxart and Salix Pharmaceuticals; Senior Medical Director, Vaccines at Takeda; and Senior Medical Officer in PATH vaccine- and drug-development programs. His earlier biotechnology experience includes Phase 1 and Phase 2 influenza vaccine leadership and medical oversight of human-challenge research.

Scientific depth and clinical credentials

Board certified in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases, Dr. Taylor earned his MD at Harvard Medical School and MSc in Medical Parasitology at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. His career includes a research professorship at Johns Hopkins, CDC Epidemic Intelligence Service work and international clinical research across Latin America, Asia and Europe.

His academic bibliography includes approximately 180 peer-reviewed journal articles. A Fellow of the American College of Physicians and the Infectious Diseases Society of America, he brings particular depth in adult and older-adult vaccines, infectious diseases, enteric diseases and clinical development.
